Terry Forest

Justice Forrest is a former judge of the Supreme Court of Victoria and currently serves as a Reserve Judge following his retirement in August 2023. He was appointed to the Court of Appeal in 2018 after nearly a decade in the Trial Division. Before joining the bench, he practised as a barrister for over 25 years, specialising in criminal law, personal injury, and professional negligence, and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 1999. His career included involvement in major criminal and civil matters, high-profile sporting tribunal cases, and regular appearances for Victorian Stewards across multiple racing codes.
